About Us

Parkside Family Counseling, LLC is a community-based counseling agency serving youth and families in Lenawee County, Michigan. Parkside was established in 1997 when the need arose for community-based services for youth involved with the juvenile justice system.

Parkside's Owner and Clinical Director is Therese M. Langan, LMSW, CAADC, CCS. Therese has more than 35 years of experience working with youth and families in community settings.  Under her leadership, in 2015 Parkside became an accredited agency through the Council on Accreditation (COA). 

The agency has grown based on the changing needs in the community. Currently Parkside offers home-, school-, community-, and office-based therapeutic services to adults, adolescents and children.
