Amy joined Parkside Family Counseling in 2014. She received a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Siena Heights University in 1995 and a Master of Social Work Degree from the University of Michigan, School of Social Work in 1998. Amy started her career in social work in 1994 at Boysville of Michigan, working with adjudicated male youth as a Treatment Specialist. She then worked as a Family Worker and then Clinical Supervisor for that agency. Amy currently is employed full time as a School Social Worker with the Lenawee Intermediate School District and services children and adolescence who receive Special Education Services, such as Autism, Learning Disabilities, Cognitive Impairments and Emotional Impairment. She has served Lenawee County in this capacity for 15 years. Amy’s clinical focus is working with children, youth and families. When Amy isn’t working she may be found at the gym, cheering her children on at their sporting events or hand crafting soy candles. She loves spending time with her family. Amy also enjoys volunteering at Mott’s Children Hospital with her husband.
